Bangkok Trip - 31st Bangkok Motorshow 2010 - Hotties

After my first Bangkok post... my friend demanded for the Bangkok Motorshow post... haha... no choice... have to post lo...

Yeah I did went to the 31st Bangkok Motorshow 2010 on 4th April 2010. I went there a bit late due to some bad arrangement... so I just stayed at the Motorshow for about 2-3 hours.

Bangkok Trip - The Key Bangkok Hotel Review

A week has passed since I came back from Bangkok and my photos almost finish processed. If you would like to know what I did for 3 days and 2 nights Bangkok trip... read on...

First of all I would like to prepare a review for the hotel I had stayed in for the 3 days trip. It was The Key Bangkok Hotel. It is a 4-star boutique hotel. I booked the room from Asiarooms for a price of TH THB3,798.00 for 2 nights (Gold Key). Compared to other hotels, I think that this hotel is quite good. The room is as big as 32sqm and there is bathtub and free internet.

The best thing was it is only about 5minutes walk to MRT (Sukhumvit station) and BTS (Asoke station). There is a 7-eleven located opposite of the hotel and Robinson Departmental Store just beside. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, I took taxi to the hotel for TH THB400 (meter) + TH THB50 (airport tax) + TH THB70 (toll), a total of TH THB520. But when I going back, I took BTS to On Nut then from there took taxi to Suvarnabhumi only cost TH THB25 (per person) + TH THB220 (taxi). So it cheaper if you are going back from On Nut. And you can shop around that area before you go back.

The only unpleasant experience I had in this hotel was the breakfast doesn't really taste good... just normal. It is send to room basis and both day I stayed there, they send late. I have to call them to ask them to send. And even the second day I changed the menu, they still send the same as the first day.

UP! - 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010

Been a while since my last post... Quite busy and hardly find time to process my photos...
Now let me post something about 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010.

The fireworks at night was quite nice. But because there was fireworks, more people visited on that day, making that place more jam than any other days.

Important Notice : Do not park at Wawasan Bridge if there are any events around that place. I saw lots of polices issue summons.

S.H.E. is the One Concert was AWESOME

The concert that nite was AWESOME... On the next day... All the newspaper was reporting on it... S.H.E. performance was so great that nite...
Too bad was sitting too far from the stage... Only can see their face through the big screen...
Next time should really consider to buy the most expensive tix when go to concert like this...
A bit regret tiam... Haha
Before they arrive, Kay and Suki warmed up the concert with some performances...

Petrol Prices

I believe that many people get frustrated when government announce that there will be a raise in petrol prices... But I guess that is not something that beyond our control (unless you are politicians). We can see people with very big response when the petrol price hike at RM2.70/litre last time, and people complained when RON95 introduced and RON97 price gets higher... But in the end what's the result? I can see things still remains the same...
So what's the benefits from complaining? And why not stop complaining and think of how to make more money rather than sitting here and complaining something that will not give u any benefits? The government is expected to announce a price increase of 10sen a litre for RON95 petrol and diesel when the new fuel price mechanism is revealed in mid-March according to Sin Chew Daily... I believe that prices of goods will go up as well... So think now how to get more money to cover the raise in expenses...

Imigration Super Pack during festive season

Like many other people, I accompanied my parents to make passport last Wednesday. Started off my journey at 7am and reached Sri Rampai at around 8am... Guess what... this place where people say lesser people compare to Kajang was packed with more than 200 people... So we give up and leave the place...
Then we went to Subang airport as people said that place don't have much people too... We reached the place about 9am and about 100+ people queuing to get number and 100+ more queuing for take passport photo... So we decided to try the next morning as we don't think can make it that day...
The next morning, we woke up at 5am, and our target today is Damansara as people said there are 30+ counters there... we reached the place at 6am and there are already some people queuing in front the door. So I dropped my parents to queue before I find parking. In front my parents was about 20+ people and after I parked my car, behind my parents already have 20+ people...
The door opened at about 8am and we moved to 1st floor straight to counter 1. If we reached at 8am, I think we will get number 200+. We finish all the procedure at about 9am and decided to get the passport the other day. The office is opened to claim the passport on weekends too...
When we leave the place, I think there are more than 400 people at the place, the queue was from counter 1, round 1 big round at the 1st floor and to the ground floor. I guess some won't get the number also. It was really like what we called "Mountain People Mountain Sea" 人山人海

Review of 72 Tenants Of Prosperity

Went to watch 72 Tenants Of Prosperity with some friends a few days ago... This movie was not like the 72 tenants that we watch when we were kids. It's a modern version of 72 tenants... You can see most of TVB actors in this movie... Some of them are Eric Tsang, Jacky Cheung, Lam Ka Tung, Charmaine Sheh, Anita Yuen, Bosco and many many many more...

The movie is worth a rating of 7/10 and it mentioned a lot about Sora Aoi... So I guess there would be a boost on searches about Sora Aoi in Google... Haha

Tooth Fairy

Thanks Nuffnang for looking at my Tooth Fairy post and granted me two free tickets to the movie... The movie was great and of coz greater because it's free... In this movie we can see how muscular Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) turned into a Tooth Fairy...
Well... actually I didn't know anything about this Tooth Fairy fantasy before... And now I know after watched the movie...
Certain parts funny, certain parts touching and so on...
It reminds us not to be a dream killer...
Worth to watch if u like dreams and fantasies... I would rate it 7/10 if u ask me to... =)

Deep inside our heart sure felt the pain of losing the closest one...
It was really a big shock when I heard the news from her...
I was figuring how to comfort her when she was on the way to find her sister...
I thought everything will be fine... I thought it was not that serious...
But... no one expect it would really happen...

It happened... nothing we can do to turn back time...
The love that we had not given to him buried inside our heart...
We will remember him... in our heart...
What we can do now is let him rest in peace...
Not to worry about his family...
And let go everything in this world...
To live happily in a different world...
Be strong... and let him know that you all can take care of yourselves...

Most important is... you all still have a mum to take care of...

Just a simple blog posts for events I could remember... With or without photos...
In January 2009, my company (which is still my company until now) had an annual dinner on 16 January 2009...
That time we were requested to join the cosplay... so what to do... went to Bangsar and rented costume which end up the money I get from the prize that nite couldn't even cover the rental of the costume...
On 26 January 2009, we had a lou sang event at Alvin's house... with some old buddies

On the valentine's day, celebrated with Phoebe by cooking a dinner for two with some red wine... (",)
In March, went to Terengganu, the first outstation trip of the year... it was great after a super busy work from end of year 2008 to CNY 2009
This was also the first time I tried Hai Peng coffee and Stuffed Crab, the famous food in Kemaman

Then 10 April 2009 - An event that most people will not miss... The PIKOM PC Fair (I) 2009

Then I went to Penang during Chin Siang's birthday... we visited many places such as Auto City, Temples, Butterfly Farm, OXO, Him Heang, Golden eBay Restaurant, Snake Temple and Toy Museum
Had a great trip there...

On 1st of May, I went for my first fashion show shoot at 1U... as a beginner, I didn't know what to do at 1st... tried to get a good shot but the position wasn't good enough and I have only the basic (very basic) equipments... So I tried to observe how people shoots and at least manage to learn something

On 6th of May, I launched my first personal blog at busywithcoffee which is now moved to the one you reading
Attended Carter and Nicole's wedding on 10th of May

And during my birthday on 17th May, I experienced taking train from KL to Hatyai...

It was a very nice experience, tired but fun... I guess you have to try it at least once...

The next week after back to KL, I went to shoot the Super GT 2009 Official Launch event

On 7th of June, I went for 1U Asiasoft Game Fest... There were some cosplayers there and I took a few photos...

On 13th of June, me and my colleagues visited the unfortunates ones at jubilee home and also the orphanage house under company's charity

20th of June... attended Fei and his gf's convo at TAR College

On 27th of June, we (me and colleagues) went to Teluk Batik Resort for Team Building...

This time we have 3 trainees with us which are Levin, Amelia and Khai Shing... All of them are great... young and brave

On 4th of July, I attended my bro's wedding registration...

Wish them all the best till old... (",)

The day after my bro's wedding registration which was 5th of July, I went to Ipoh with Phoebe, Eric and Jerry... Guess what we were doing there...

We went there for Miss Model of The World '09 Malaysia Finale's photoshoot competition...

The event was awesome... Just the competition part a bit sucky... I guess the judge only look for photos with "exposure"... or more accurate... BOOB... =.=

If I'm going there again next year... I won't spend on sending photos for the competition again...

On 10th of July, me, Phoebe, Eric and Jerry explored KLCC

And the next day on 11th of July, I went to MMU for DaiCon, A Celebration of Japanese Modern Visual Culture

25th July, celebrated Ah Goy's Birthday at Neway...

The same day at night, I went to Kiara for Hennessy Artistry larget event of the year

Drank a lot that night... but not drunk... met a lot of old frens from Cochrane there...

On the 1st of August, I went to the second PC Fair of the year PIKOM PC Fair (II) 2009

There goes foxy kissydust... attraction of the day...

On 15th and 16th of August, I went to Midvalley for KLPF

And on 12th September, I went to Sony Alpha Basic Workshop with Jerry

That was the photo I took and changed the background to B&W

On 20th September, me and Phoebe attended Chooi Yee's daughter full moon celebration

This little baby was named Ting Ting

On 21st September, Form 6 Cochraneans had a small reunion at Tony's house...

On 26th of September, me, Phoebe, Eric and Jerry went to Genting

2nd Oct, I bring Phoebe and Eric to Hennessy Artistry Quattro because Lenka was there...

On 3rd of October, me and Phoebe went to Yew Mun's wedding dinner and we met Ji-ann, Mei Ling and some ex-Cochraneans...

Then on 11th October, we celebrated KK's birthday at Red Box Low Yat

On 16th of October, I saw a very big fire near Chan Sow Lin after I came back from Kuchai Lama cyber cafe

On 17th October, me, Phoebe, Mei Chian, Heng Yuen, Yee Wan and Kian How went to River View at Kuala Selangor for seafood...

On 30th of October, I treated Phoebe, Eric and Jerry eat Shabu-Shabu for certain reason then we went to Putrajaya for some photoshoots

On 1st of November, me and Phoebe went to Cineplex for Jennifer Casting photoshoot event and earned 2 free tix for the movie

Following on 8th of November, I went to Miss Hypertune @ Mist Club event invited by Ah Yat

On 14th of November, me, Phoebe, Eric, Jerry, Eng Kuan, Chin Siang and Mun Khit went to Port Dickson for a short trip

And on 6th of December, I went to PIKOM PC Fair (III) 2009
This is the last PC Fair of the year...

And the biggest for me was the annual trip to South Korea - Seoul on 15th to 20th December

Last but not least... the new year celebration with Phoebe, Mei Chian, Heng Yuen, Yee Wan and Kian How at Cherating...

This is a post to remind myself of what are the things that colored my life for the whole 2009...

Old Dogs Movie Review...

Got some free tickets from YouthSays last 2 days and watched the Old Dogs (starring John Travolta, Robin Williams and Seth Green)
At first when I see this... I thought "Don't care what movie it is lo... since it's free why not just go and watch" LOL
It was a bit boring at first with some cold jokes from John Travolta...
But when reach the middle part of the movie... Laughed like hell...
It was very hard to stop laughing at some times...

That's me during my operation... Of course normal people will not be able to see my wings... because I hide them using a special spray called InvisibiliCK...

That was pretty cool right? And I also have a great gadget Super Tooth Capture Camera...
Once I shoot... a robotic claw will come out from the camera and capture the tooth...

So this is a pretty easy work for me... as most ppl likes to take photos... (",)

South Korea Part 2 - National Park, Fish Market, Teddy Bear Farm, Korean BBQ

The next day journey began with a temperature of -18 degree celcius... I guess not much people crazy like me go out and take photos of sunrise...

We had our breakfast at a restaurant just a block away from the hotel. Then we move to Seoraksan National Park. The wind was very strong there... If possible, prepare mask or buy one from the stalls there... it's really useful here...

There is a very big buddha not long after we enter the park...

Then there's a bridge called 洗心桥 - Wash Heart Bridge which brings the meaning wash away all the evils before going into the temple.
The same bridge we use is called 极乐桥 - Most Happiness Bridge when we leaving

Next we went to the Daepohaeng Fish Market... Beside the fish market there is a very beautiful place...

You might seen this before in some korean drama...
The tour guide suggest that we don't buy anything here... There are a lot of deep sea fish, squid, octopus and stalls selling tempura and kuih here...

After a short walk at the market, we move to the Teddy Bear Farm. This is a place with a lots of teddy bears... really a lot... many forms of teddy bears... Got Santa, army, traditional, u name it...

At night, we had Korean BBQ... This is the most delicious food I had in South Korea... Hahaha... What to do... other food was too healthy for Carnivore like me... LOL

The meat that we cooked was cut and wrapped in the vegetable with some sort of special sauce.

We also tried some korean liquor... They called one of them as 0 years and the other as 100 years. One drink till u old and one drink till u die...

Our boss mixed them together and called it 50 years... it taste a bit like whiskey and I think mixed together was better than drink individually... coz individually it taste like medicine... -.-'''

South Korea Part 1 - Seoraksan Daemyung

If you wonder why I had been missing for a few days didn't online and didn't update my blog... and you don't know where I've been... It's time to tell you where I've been...

I've been to South Korea for a few days from 15th to 20th December. It was a winter trip to South Korea to experience what they call COLD...

Before I left to Korea, I took a photo of KLIA
This airport is much nicer compare to LCCT of course... Haha

When we reach Korea, we prepared ourselves with jackets, sweater, long john, etc
When we walk out the Incheon International Airport of Korea, we felt so cold... It was about -8 degree celcius...
Because of too cold, we rushed to the bus
Next, we had our breakfast at a local restaurant nearby... It was Udon...

The taste was great... I think is much nicer than the soup noodles in Malaysia...
I didn't know what is the name of the restaurant as it was written in Korean...
All I remember is there is a lot of "Remember Korea" all around the restaurant and there's a message "Recommended to tourists"
Yeah... I did remember the taste of the noodle till now =P

After finish our breakfast, we move to the Seagull Watching Ship... The bus went onto the ship and we unboard to talk a short walk around to see seagulls

Didn't take much photos here as I still not used to the cold weather...

Then we moved to the Greenland Spa... This place is divided to 3 sections... Male Only, Female Only and both... For both, we MUST wear clothes... and for others, we MUST NOT wear anything...

At first we discussed among the guys that we will use the towel to cover important parts and when reach the pool straight jump into the pool... But the towel given was a face towel WTF... Just enough to cover our face LOL...
So we gave up and only go to the sharing pool...
We went outdoor where the weather is very cold and jump into hot pools...
There are many types of hot pools... as I can remember there are Medicated Tea, Rice Wine, Red Wine, etc...
Next we went to the lavender farm... As you know, it is winter... so we only managed to see a few pots of lavender...

Then we had our lunch at a quite isolated wooden/glass restaurant

The mushroom hot pot seems delicious but too healthy for me... Haha
What I'm thinking now is a fried egg will save my day... LOL
After lunch... we start moving to hotel... it was a quite long journey and we had a stop on the way...

For dinner... we had Shabu-Shabu

The seafood are fresh and delicious...
Night at the Daemyung hotel was very beautiful...
People say that Malaysia's lights are beautiful but I think South Korea's is much nicer...

Sony Alpha Flash Workshop + Model Shoot (Andante)

Sony are always generous to give away free workshops every month... and this is the second workshop I attended... the 1st was Basic Workshop and this time is flash workshop. You might think that "Cheh... I can learn everything from the manual"...

But those are not the only thing I learned from this workshop... The best part of the workshop was during the Model Shoot... The trainer taught us how to make a photo not like an ordinary photo... How to make use of the flash other than only Bounce it...

Below were the shots I took during that day... Keep in mind that no special equipments are used other than F56/F58 flash that we put in wireless mode...

I personally like the last one most... because the tones and details really attracts me... (",)

Went to Midvalley last week to have a dinner with ex-uni mates...Suggested there as some of them never try it... Bread was served while we looking at what we want to order...

Bread was dipped into a mixture of olive oil and soy sauce. Some might not like the smell / taste of olive oil but that is what makes it great and Italians...
We ordered Mussels Fra Diavolo (Mussels in spicy tomato broth) and Sicilian Chicken Salad (Diced chicken breast, mangoes, red grapes and pine nuts, tosed in Lemon-dijon dressing on crispy romaine lettuce) as starter

The Mussels didn't turn out to be as delicious as I expected. Because of the Mussels used I think... It was not as tasty as the one I ate on my previous visit. But the salad is quite nice... (",)
Then for main course, we had Seafood Cioppino (Mussels, calamari, clams, and shrimp sauteed in white wine and tossed in a spicy marinara sauce. Served with fettuccine pasta) and also Shrimp Linguine (Sauteed shrimp served with marinara sauce).
The Shrimp Linguine was great... With fresh and big shrimp as you can see in the photo... (",)

As for desserts, we had their famous New York Strawberry Cheese Cake and Tiramisu

MYEG has Superb Good Service

Why I say so? This is from my own experience of 1st time using the portal. For those who never go to MYEG, you should try it. You can check your summons, renew car insurance, pay road tax, etc from there.

Last few weeks when my road tax just expired, I was thinking to renew it online after I heard the ads about it. Explore around and I submitted the 1st page of my details for renewing my car insurance and road tax. Then when reach 2nd page, I saw there are details regarding my car loan and the card. Since I didn't bring anything with me that day, I decided to leave the registration for the next day.

But to my surprise, I got a call from MYEG and they say they will quote me the price for insurance and road tax. Then I just say OK... They only asked for a few basic details. Then they send the price to my email. Since everything is fine, I just make the payment. Another surprise was... the road tax was delivered the next working day.

I was like... "Walao eh... Malaysia also got so effecient de service one meh?"... But seriously... This service really helps me a lot and as an appreciation, I write this post, just to thank them for their great service or whatever... Cheers

Christmas 2009 @ Berjaya Times Square

After visiting Stella's snowing blog... I can feel that Xmas is so near... It's already Dec!!! Yeah Yeah... I like Christmas so much and start listening to Xmas songs... Hehe...

Went to Berjaya Times Square last week and it's decorated with lots of Xmas stuffs... Big difference from past years...

This year's giant Xmas Tree is turning one! Out of my expectation... Haha... I thought it would be like last year's still one...

Below the tree, they have a shop and it's S+J gift shop... Lots of people went in to take a look because it's very special, under the Xmas Tree (",)

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I watched this movie last Thursday since Friday is public holiday for Malaysia. For those who going to watch, I recommend that you watch the first episode before you watch this because the story relates a lot with the first episode.

Not sure whether it is my expectation on this movie too high or what... I felt that this episode is not so good compared to the first. I felt that the scenes were dragged too long. A bit boring in the middle.

It showed that the werewolves killing the vampires but not much scenes on that... Maybe more actions on werewolves fighting with the vampires will be better...

Seremban Siew Pow Empire

Back to the last destination before we came back from Port Dickson... we managed to go to famous Seremban Siew Pow Empire to have our lunch.

That place is kinda crowded during lunch but luckily we still able to find a table...
We ordered a few dishes and the food there was great...
First we have this vegetable topped with mayonnaise... Nothing special but can be treated as appetizer due to a sour taste of mayonnaise...

And we have this Kam Heong Lala... Lala is Eric's favourite and that's why we decided to order it... Unexpected though that he ordered Kam Heong instead of Sheung Tong Lala... Hehe

And we also have prawns... Prawns there is what they called "Kei Lun" Prawns... Phoebe recommended we order these because she tried it before. These restaurant is generous giving about 20+ prawns for the price of RM30+ and the prawns are fresh...

And we have tofu...

And Hakka Cha Yuk... (Hakka Fried Pork)

The food are so great and it's only RM115 for 7 Persons (include 7 cans of 100 Plus)... Highly recommended if you are at some where near Seremban.

Before we leave the place, we bought some Siew Pow and Durian Egg Tarts...

Went home and I ate the Siew Pow and Durian Egg Tarts as my dinner... Hehe...

Port Dickson Trip - Part 3

The first day weather was sucks... At night we watched Astro till late... The last program I watched was about 911 WTC... I fell asleep while waiting to see the building collapse... Since weather not so good on the 1st day, I only managed to take some "so so" photos... But the next day when we woke up was great...

I start sharing with some photos from the beach near Corus Paradise...

The sky was so blue and nice... How I wish that this was the weather on the 1st day we came...

Port Dickson Trip - Part 2

Wahahahaha... so fast and I'm back with Port Dickson Part 2... After finish our lunch cum tea time at the kopitiam, we move on to Cape Rachado a.k.a. Tanjung Tuan LightHouse...

When we reach there, it was raining and the gate was closed for cars. Only can walk in... We waited a while at the guard house then we see a 4WD car going up... then Mun Khit asked if we can ride at the back then they say yes... WOW... that was lucky...

We were told by guys who came down from the hill top that it takes 10mins walking to the top... but we ride for quite some time... I think it takes around 20mins or more if we want to walk up the hill... some more it was raining...

Yeah... at least we able to capture some nice pics up there... hehe...
After that... we went back to apartment to prepare for BBQ...
I didn't take much photos on the food... I think Eric does... hehe...
What I took was only the burning charcoal and the chicken wing...

Nice leh the chicken wing? Oh coz la... I personally roast woh... with all the passion... =P

Port Dickson Trip - Part 1

We started off our PD Trip on a beautiful Saturday morning having dim sum at Kuchai Lama... We talked about going to PD for quite some time already... But because of projects on hand and many activities, we postponed this until last Saturday...

The food at Kuchai Lama was awesome... better than the one at Connaught I can say... here are some of the pics of the dim sum... prepare your tissue to wipe your saliva...

I know you are cursing me! Me myself felt hungry while writing this too... hahaha...

We drive to PD using Sepang route. It takes us 1hr+ to reach PD. When we reach PD, it was raining so we had to cancel our plan to Wan Loong Temple and Ostrich Farm... Sigh!

We rest in our apartment until three something then we go to a kopitiam at PD town for a break. At the kopitiam, we had some toast and half boiled egg.

Honestly, I seldom eat like this even I like to... because most of the tea times I was busy working in office... Nowadays... I guess 90% of working adults don't have "tea-time" la...

A Christmas Carol Premiere

One day... I suddenly received an email from Nuffnang for my long ago post comments on "A Christmas Carol" that I've won myself 2 tickets for premiere screening of the movie. I was very happy receiving that email because I told myself that I must watch this movie the very first time I watched the preview at cinema. The movie was so great and it even come in 3D. You will feel the 3Dness especially when there is snow...

It was a story about an old man (Scrooge - Jim Carrey) who has to face 3 spirits: Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet-to-Come who came to his life to remind him about what happened in past Christmas, today and in future.

After watching the movie, I felt that Christmas is near... it's Nov now... and Christmas is just a month away... and of coz... I will enjoy Christmas, as always... Hope all my friends out there will have a Merry Christmas too... This movie is worth to watch...

Traditional Recipe Restaurant @ Kuchai Lama

Ever thinked where can you get a delicious rice dumpling (bak chang) when u need it? Well... I'm not sure whether this place, Traditional Recipe Restaurant in Kuchai Lama have nice rice dumpling or not... but it did offer many varieties of rice dumpling and even have those abalone, scallop, shark fin rice dumplings. If you happened to try them, remember to tell me ya?

The Menu

What I've tried in this restaurant is steamed chicken with Nu Er Hong("daughter red"). If u don't know, Nu Er Hong is also known as Hua Diao Jiu("flowery carving wine") and is a kind of HuangJiu("Yellow Wine") originates from Shaoxing, in the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang. For me, it is a bit too salty and the chicken is a bit overcooked (cooked till a bit old is what we say in chinese)... but the taste is quite good.
Maybe this time when I eat it accidentally make it not nice la... Haha

I also tried the chicken floss roll... This one I can tell u that it's nice. It is you tiao inside, covered with chicken floss then wrapped with cheong fun.

Fire Burning on Deepavali

Somebody call 999, Shawty Fire Burning on Deepavali... 17th Oct 2009, when I was going back home after 4hours playing at cyber cafe, that time was 4 something in the morning and there were firemen at Permaisuri... so feeling curious why there are firemen here, looked around and shocked when saw a very big fire... not at Permaisuri, but quite far away from Permaisuri...

It was a factory in Chan Sow Lin that got burned down... Total losses was RM400k... I heard that the fire keep burning until 7am in the morning, which means it burned for about 3 hours... Wondering why it can continue burning for so many hours... does the firemen did their part to put out the fire? What I see in Permaisuri is the firemen stood there and watched the fire with us... LOL

When we mention about Ramly Burger...I guess 99.99% Malaysian know what is that. But how many of us know where it come from? It originally started at a mobile kiosk on Lorong Haji Hussin, Kuala Lumpur. And it's created by Ramly Moknin. From a small stall, now it become distributors of Ramly patties for a numerous stalls all around Malaysia... You can see stalls with "Ramly" all along the streets. At some places, even a few stalls in one street.

The most common order is Burger Special, where the patty is first fried with some seasonings and then wrapped with a think layer of egg. It was so popular in Malaysia and even in Singapore. But... the import of Ramly Burger into Singapore is prohibited. However, some people does illegally smuggled the burger into the country. Interesting story ya? Actually... I just want to enjoy my Ramly Burger... Not a Burger Special but a Ramly + Benjo (egg) Burger.

It was a great event by Henessy. Featuring Boys Like Girls a Boston-based rock-pop quartet. It is a boys band which I think love by many girls... haha... It become girls like boys... =P

There were also Hsiao Hung Jen, a Taiwanese singer. I think that he looks quite young but he has a quite mature men's voice. He was very energetic that night. Rocked many songs which none of it I know... Haha...

Besides, also attending that night was Paul Freeman... He has a very attractive look... A very "Ang Mo Lang" look... LOL... He asked a girl up to sing with him but the girl doesn't know his song so just "na na na na na......." He jammed a lot that night... making the crowd quite High...

And we also got Lenka(born Lenka Kripac in 1978) is an Australian television actress and singer-songwriter who recently very popular with "The Show"... I'm just a little bit caught in the middle... Life is a maze, and love is a riddle... There were many people like me... wait for Lenka to appear... wait until around midnight...

First of all... What is HDR? High dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allow a greater dynamic range of luminances between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods. This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to represent more accurately the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight.

The two main sources of HDR imagery are computer renderings and merging of multiple photographs, which in turn are known as low dynamic range (LDR)[2] or standard dynamic range (SDR)[3] images. Tone mapping techniques, which reduce overall contrast to facilitate display of HDR images on devices with lower dynamic range, can be applied to produce images with preserved or exaggerated local contrast for artistic effect.

OK... so the word artistic... that's the word... when you look at a HDR image, you will feel that it's real but have some dreamy effect. Something like what we see in fairy tales, stories, etc...

So how did I try to do mine? 1st, I select a photo which I want to process... then I adjust the curves... fixed input at 128. Then the output at 0, save it, then 2nd pic at same input 128 with increment of output of 64, the 3rd at 128-128, 4th at 128-192 and the 5th at 128-255. Then I merge these photos with Photomatix into one HDR photo. You can see the difference before and after effect:

You can see that the orange is more orange, green is more green, etc...
Try play around and you might produce some stunning photos... Have fun...

Well... this is not where we stayed. It's just beside the apartment next to the reception. It was quite tall and you can see it from the hill.
We used some of the facilities provided there. At first we actually asked for squash. And the counter say need to pay bla bla bla for using the facility. Then we see there are notice saying that from 3 to 6 it's complimentary. And that time was 2 something about 3. I guess the counter fella just hope that we didn't see that notice and pay him for the facility. So we asked him about 3pm onwards and he say it's free. So while waiting for 3pm, we played archery. The archery cost RM20 for 50 arrows and RM38 for 100 arrows. We take 50 arrows. The good thing is that you can pay for 50 arrows and many people can share it.

It was great to have steamboat at cool place like Genting... After sweat a little through archery, squash and table tennis, we prepared for steamboat dinner. Cool breeze air from outside came in through the windows. It was so relaxing and I really miss those days... When work is stressful, think about what had gone through during the trip was really great. When we don't have to think of what's the next request, just think of the taste of whiskey in hand...

We didn't buy much thing this time, scare cannot finish.

Chin Swee Caves Temple @ Genting Highland

Chin Swee Caves Temple, a temple which was built by Tan Sri Lim after the completion of his Genting Highland Resort in 1975. It takes 18 years to manually built the temple without machinery for fundamental work such as piling because it was built on a steep and rocky terrain. Tan Sri Lim and his team manually dug holes of 80 to 100 ft in depth for this tricky hill slope development. The first part of the temple was opened in 29 March 1994. Second part of development was began in 2005 and completed in 2007. Now, the temple has astounding views of sculptures and mountains surrounding it.

My Raya Pertama and Raya Kedua

Unlike most of my Chinese and Indian friends who hibernate at home during this holiday, my holiday was consider to be quite colorful. On the 1st day of Raya, I went to see Chooi Yee's daughter. And on the way, went to buy a Mickey Mouse DVD for QiQi. It was the first time I visit Giant at Bandar Kinrara... The Giant was quite "giant" compare to other Giant. It's more like Jusco, with many shops inside. Haha...

I always tell myself to try to shoot in HDR for special effect... But everytime I also forgot... when ever I see nice things, my emotion will drive me to shoot it asap... and in the end it resulted not up to my own taste.

Next day... wake up at 8 something to have breakfast with family... Went to Pasar Pudu and tried some "not very nice" dim sum. Then send my sister to work and go to cut my hair before coming home to post all this.

After a tiring day of work + night class, I called home and asked whether my family had celebrated my bro's birthday... and they say haven't cut any cake yet. So I rushed from Serdang to Secret Recipe at Leisure Mall... Managed to reach there before 10pm and called my family to check what cake he prefer. Then I bought a Chocolate Indulgence for RM73.50(include tax).

I put the cake into the car then when I close the car door... suddenly something screamed... I was like "WAHHHHH!!!!!" then I see a cat was there with its tail between my car door... haiz... Pity the cat... it sure pain... Fast fast open the car door and it run away like a rocket. Then I checked around to see whether it is below my car or not to make sure I don't drive over it later. Then I see it across the street... Seems ok then I drive away.

Reached home and celebrated my bro's birthday. My sis bought home some satay. So after eat satay then cut cake to eat. Didn't take any photo because I didn't bring my camera. The chocolate is nice but the cake is a bit too dry...

My 1st Sony Alpha Workshop

After so many months I bought my camera and registered as a Sony member... Finally I successfully registered for the workshop. From there... I learned a lot of basics which I don't know... Most of what is taught was not in the manual itself.

And it was as early as six thirty in the morning which she normally start her journey. Every weekends at six something I believe most of us are only doing one thing... SLEEP...

It was last Thursday when my company had a weekly badminton session, I suggested to my colleagues that we bring our camera and shoot the light trails on road beside the Pusat Komuniti Bandar Tun Razak, where we play badminton...

KL night scene is very nice... I heard from my lecturer once before said that... Many tourists came to Malaysia to see the colourful lights of Malaysia. This is absolutely true... Of coz this got bad and good la... Bad is it is wasting our money as tax payers... but the good thing is it benefits our eyes...

Thai Food @ Dataran Dwitasek

Couple of weeks ago... I went to try out the Thai Food at Dataran Dwitasek, Bandar Sri Permaisuri (The area where Kayu and Pappa Rich located). If you've been this place before, you'll know a coffee shop called "Yi Nan Mong". After a few months the coffee shop "gulung tikar", this Thai Food opened. I can say that the price is not very expensive and not cheap, just average. A fried rice (taste like chinese fried rice) is around six ringgit and seafood tom yam about nine ringgit. But the price for drinks a bit expensive la... Teh Tarik / Nescafe costs about three ringgit.

Hmm... the taste of the food is ok la... Can give a rating of 7/10. So if you all can't think of what to eat, then can try this. Hehe..

Even though I haven't get the result I already can feel it. Those I read didn't come out much, those I didn't read come out a lot in the questions. The opportunity cost of studying for this bad result was too great. I leave all my office work and went to library to study... Sigh

Anyway, let bygones be bygones. I guess I know why it happens that way. I should revise and do all the exercise of each chapter after the classes. I shouldn't wait until the exercise given by the lecturer then only do. So, from now on... I will change my strategy. I'll start pumping on the questions.

This Sunday I will have another exam. But Saturday I'll be going out almost whole day, for photography workshop. So what I need to do is spend as much time as I can to study before weekend. That's why I told my colleagues that I will not be able to join them for fun on Friday night as usual. I borrowed a few books related to the subject that will be tested this Sunday. Hope that it will help in my exam.

It was weeks ago when I went to Midvalley they have this Amazing Thailand festival. Thailand, our neighbour country, is full with excitements, full with exotic foods, and arts. When I went to Hat Yai, I did tried some of the food and it taste special. Some of them were really nice. And Thailand is some where really worth to visit.

Actually every country has it's own culture... in Thailand, you can see that they very respect their King. You can see that their King's posters everywhere. And there are many temples in Thailand. They prayed a lot. Not like what we are doing... played a lot... Haha...

Change in life

I used to wake up at 8 something nearly 9 even my office hour should be 9 to 6. It was since 2 months ago when I just start to take my MBA that I start to wake up earlier than usual. Because I need to leave at sharp 6 that's why I need to reach office by sharp 9. But waking up is a point, staying awake is another different point. I used to wake up then go back to sleep not long after.

To change this habit, recently I read on a book saying that in a famous book "The Monk That Sold His Ferrari", the author said that to wake up early, you must wake up with something meaningful to be done. He recommended that we write journal to keep us wake early. I'm now doing something similar, but a bit different. I start to wake up to write blog. So you might see that from now on... my blog posts will be more and more... Hehe...

It's a good thing for myself too... as there are too many things I wish to express through my blog to the world full with good readers. Old days, we always try to find a good listener. But in the information age, we are now in need of good readers. Someone who will read your blog and understand what type of person you are. And if you are reading this, you are one of my good readers!

The beauty of Pasar Ramadhan

It's Puasa time again... and for Malays, many will turn on hibernate mode at home (if no need work) then go out to buy foods from Pasar Ramadhan when they are about to Buka Puasa. And for other races, many will join the fun buying foods from the Pasar Ramadhan too. There are many varieties of foods available ranged from light such as agar-agar, kuih, curry puff, etc to heavy like rice and noodles. One of my favorite food is the Ayam Percik which is hard to find if it's not during the Puasa month.

The Pasar Ramadhan was once quite popular with their cheap foods. But due to rapid increasing of living costs, we can see that the prices had gone up quite drastic years back. A pack of noodles sold at RM1 each is now selling RM2 each. And the fried chicken from RM1.50 each piece is now selling at RM2 or RM2.50. Chicken rice from RM3 to RM4 each box.

This changes I guess most of us aware of. But we just pay the price as we know that was the market price nowadays. But there are beauty lies in this Pasar Ramadhan, which most of us can't see it. You'll notice something is different with the bargains after 7pm. I was there observing the changes. People are start to shout "Last Call! Last Call!". Yeah... it's now the best time to spend your money. The sellers start selling their supplies at "Exit Price". They need to liquidize their inventories. At this time, you can see that those stuffs selling at RM1 each normally are selling at RM2 for 3! Agar-agar which you buy RM1 for 3 pieces are selling at RM1 for 4 pieces now.

But of course there are risk if you want to wait them to sell at lower price. It depends on factors such as total supplies, total demand, and whether they have their way to manage the unsold foods. And if you observe for a few days, you'll know which stalls that always sell the foods at lower price when they about to Buka Puasa. But if that day there are many demands, or lower supplies, you might not get what you wish to eat. Haha.

Balancing between Work-Study-Life

The frequency of my blog post has been lesser and lesser... There are a lot of thing which I wish to post... A lot of thing and a lot of feelings which I wish to share with all the readers which read without any complaints...

Study life is really no honey moon life... especially when you are working... Lots of assignments, exams, discussions, presentations, reports... it's kinda burdening. Stress is something I need to learn to manage...

Sleeping late at 3am and wake up early to go to work is a common thing for me now... Work from morning till 6pm then rush to uni like driving GT... speeding and worry about summons that I may encounter... Best time is enjoying the breeze air after my class, driving back along the Mines-Sg Besi highway, I normally opened my car window, turn off the air cond and let the natural wind blow away all my stress, removing my headaches... so that I can go home and continue my work...

I did my work normally until 2-3am... and this is what I expected from the first day I work as a software engineer... And now with more projects on hand... Pending tasks are stacking up... Lucky still... have Eric to help on some tasks... and I do appreciate his help... Teamwork and supporting environment keeps me going... pass through everyday without any big obstacles...

I still remember that once before... we always stay back at office until 12am... that was the toughest days we had in our working life in this company... Now what we facing is not as hard if compare to what we gone through. And that worst experience is what shape our supportive environment...

I believe all my colleagues know that everything is good in this company except "something" that we cannot control... and those good thing is the reason we stay in this company... and enjoy our trips as a team...

Work life is not a big matter for me with the support of my colleagues... Study is something what I have to control myself... and life is something I need to learn to enjoy! (",)

KLPF 20090816 @ Midvalley

Yeah... second round of my visit to KLPF... I reached at around 11am and the exhibition hall is already very crowded because of the EOS Miss Chinese Cosmos Pageant SEA 2009 Photography Contest. Pageant had cat walk on the stage for photogs to shoot. Although the contest is only open for Canon users, but other brand supporters will never miss the chance to shoot leng luis... So the area around the stage was as crowded as the day before. I did took some photos of the pageants, but I'll post it in another post later. Now I'll continue with the booth girls.

As expected, after news about there are girls to shoot at booth, there will be more photogs a.k.a. "buaya" will appear at the hall today... Haha...
It was not as easy to shoot as yesterday as the ratio of photographers to model had increased. And there are more hands and arms and heads that block the camera.

KLPF 20090815 @ Midvalley

Went to Midvalley today for Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival. I was intended to go there to shoot some models in the Model Shoot session. Already prepared for the crowd before I reach there... But it was a lot more than what I expected.

But at least... I've got a shot...

Anyway, this is not what I want to shoot... Without wasting time shooting object from very far, I walked around... and got some of the below:

This girl a bit cocky before I approach her... But when I asked to take her photo, she's quite ok... and looks quite elegant... I like the feel...
So morale of the story: Don't judge a model by her look... you'll get different result from every aspects...

As I walked towards the end of the hall, I saw a bunch of photographers keep flashing at 1 booth... So I also go there and see what's so interesting...
And I guess that was the most famous booth of all...
With two girls (I guess is Thai girl) wearing a tied up shirt exposing part of their bra, most of the guys leave nose bleed... Hahaha

ShaShinKi has a booth there also selling some accessories and promoting their website. I knew about their website when Tuck Hoh told me when I just started to venture into photography...
I didn't really survey for the prices of accessories... because I scare later hand will feel itchy... Haha
Already spent for my lens before I went to Ipoh for model shooting... So absolutely not going to spend more this time...

PC Fair 2009, I went there on Saturday around afternoon. Reached KLCC, and had my McLunch then proceed to the Convention Center through Aquaria. On the way to the destination, I already can feel how much people will be there in the PC fair...

The pc fair is a bit different this time. They start promoting more Online Games. In the first hall I entered, there were a bunch of cosplayers. All promoting Online Games and attracting the guys to sign up. Haha... not many can resists their attractions and I guessed a lot of Online game accounts were signed up within this few days.

As for laptops, girls promoting were like fairs before. Not much different on their uniforms. As for the girls, a bit different la... You judge it yourself.

Goy's Birthday Celebration @ Neway KL

Been away for kinda long... Lots of things that I wish to blog it out, but due to insufficient time, everything left in a small corner inside my head. And now is the time to unleash them... Hehe...

It was Goy's Birthday on last Saturday, he purposely come to KL to meet us all... But unfortunately, most of the things went unplanned due to lots of unexpected events through the weekend. So sorry for him.

But at least we went to Neway as planned. Hehe. It was quite fun over there, because Goy met Han Ting and Chin Siang, who always don't sing at karaoke, sang a few songs too...

I left early for another event that day... And they went to Wong Kok to drink the huge milk tea. In the end... Goy's stomach not feeling well... Too much milk tea I guess... Haha

The next day... we went to had our breakfast, but I don't feel good that morning, felt a bit headache and wish to vomit. So scared that I kena H1N1 that time, went home to rest a while before send Goy to Puduraya to catch his bus home. And we missed the chance to walk at the Petaling Street like Vivone.

So that was it... they went back to Penang... Haiz... Don't know when they will come again... Looking forward for the next time they come... And wish that time can have better plannings...

University Students turned Cosplayers @ DaiCon MMU...

It was DaiCon, a Celebration of Japanese Modern Visual Culture event in Malaysia. I reached there on Saturday around 12 something where the Cosplay Competition event is going on. I didn't stay much near the stage, instead, walked around looking at what they have there. It was really a great event for anime lovers. There were a lot of collectibles selling at counters from posters to cards to figurines and many more. You can see cosplayers all around the hall. Some of the guests that day also added something on top of their normal attire such as bunny/cat ears, tails, caps, etc.

I can see in the eyes of anime lovers, their desire and joy of owning their "angel" or "guardian". It was really a great experience although me myself is not an anime lover. I wouldn't understand why they can spend so much money to own a figurine. Just like they won't understand why photographers can spend over thousands for a DSLR. Haha... I guess sure the gals will say... "Why not I be your guardian or angel, and you spend those money on me". Haha...

Actually it all downs to one thing... Interest. Interest is what creates desire to own. And different people have different interests. But the theory is just the same... You have interest that's why you wish to own it. OK... talk too much already... back to topic... Cosplayers that day are great... I believe even their own friends never expect that they are so different as a cosplayer.

After work... me, Phoebe, Jerry and Eric went to some where near KLCC... at 1st I see it quite hazy and a lot of cloud nearby... but when reached the destination... the surrounding area seems quite clear... so me and Jerry start setting up tripods and we all start take pictures...

Yesterday... I went for a so called orientation for MBA at UPM. It was held in Philip Kotler hall. I didn't know this hall even though I've been in UPM for 3 years. So the Dean start explaining about the faculty and continued by the deputies for some course descriptions. I get to know a guy name Kee Wei, he asked me to call him Kiwi (I won't do that...). After the session ends, go back to faculty of computer science for internet. And then found out that today no class. Haiz... waste time wait there.

Today... was my 1st lecture. I went in late because of traffic jam caused by heavy rain. I sat beside Deepa and Mee Hui (not too sure whether the spelling is correct or not) and the lecturer explained about what Organizational Behavior (the subject I taking) is all about.

So what is Organizational Behavior about? It was formed by Organization and Behavior. Course mates suggested Team, Emotion, Attitude, Values, Cultures, People, Promotions, etc. Then the lecturer relates all the attributes mentioned. He said values, everyone has the values that they practice, example cleanliness, tidiness, how you feel when you normally stay in a very clean country and come across a very dirty country.

And Emotions, every one has emotions, Anger, Love, Sad, Joy, if you don't have emotions, you are Zombie! And attitude, it is emotions, practiced in long term, so it's a long term emotions...

And Cultures, it is something that practice by a group of people. Just like Bindi on Indian women forehead, which the red means married, black means single. It was practiced by large group of Indians. And it's Indian's culture. And the lecturer said "It was my culture, not all, that 1st class shall be a half class... and the class will end early today".

Yeah... that's the end of my class...

Miss Model of the World 2009 - Malaysia Final

On 7th July, I went to Ipoh for the event Miss Model of the World Malaysia Final photography contest. Have to wake up early in the morning at 4am because the event start at 9am. Drive all the way from KL to Ipoh. Feeling sleepy + it was raining in the morning when on the way to Ipoh... Almost fell asleep a few times. But because of responsibility, I must focus on driving. Haha... and done it... (Proud of myself... hehe)

Reached Ipoh at 8.30am and had breakfast at McDonald. After that we went to the Lost World, Sunway for the event. When we reached there, we were told that all passes are finished... OMG... then they gave us the Official passes (for reporters). Haha... different from others... we get the blue passes instead of yellow.

OK... cut the craps... proceed with photos... I know u guys like that... Hehe...

Heavy haze recently as all of us know... And I thought it would be hard for me to get a chance to shoot a nice night view of KL... until yesterday, when I'm getting home... I saw a clear view of KLCC from my office...

So when reached home, I spent some time playing with my camera, and managed to get a few shots...

Explore the Wilderness @ Teluk Batik Resort

This was the third company team building I've attended. On 27th June, 7.30 am, we all gathered and depart from Wisma Zelan, KL. As expected, I had a nap in the bus because I slept at 3 something the night before. Once reached Bidor, we had the Duck Noodle. I personally think that it is not as good as before... I've tried that a few times before. Maybe today the chef had missed something or what. But the white coffee there is as nice as always.

After eating, went back to the bus, and slept again. We reached Teluk Batik resort around 11 something. And we had our lunch there. Because I was still full, I just had some fruits and drinks. After lunch, we can't get our room yet. So all of us put our belongings in one room. Changed to outdoor attire and move to the jungle. Journey began...

The route to the destination is a bit hard because it was quite steep. But we managed to get to the destination safely. Once we reached, Mr Goh, the tour guide cum motivator explained to us about the safety equipments, and steps to go through all the obstacles. It was tired but also a great chance for me to workout since seldom exercise recently. Hehe...

Challenge in Jungle
After everyone done the challenge, we moved back to resort and checked in. The resort is "OK OK" only. TV is not clear, no hair shampoo, no shower cap, no coffee, nothing in fridge, no snacks and no telephone. Others... just fine.

After shower and so... we went to have our dinner. The food there is not very nice... just ok to put in mouth. Then we start our indoor session. We started off with the topic Trust is the foundation of Teamwork. We were asked to carry everyone in the team up, assuming that we had an emergency and the person need to be rushed to hospital immediately. Then we played the spider web game, where everyone need to move to the other side of spider web without touched the web. Here, strategy and team works applies. After the session, we went back to our rooms and rest.

The next day, we woke up early and had our breakfast. Then we went to the beach to have our Canoeing session. And this is not a normal Canoeing session like those at lake or river. What we face this time is the sea... with strong Waves. Mr Goh taught a lot about how to control the canoe, and what to do if there's an emergency. Didn't take any photo because took part in the activities.

At evening, we had our pool session. It began with using balloon filled up with water to play... we have to throw the balloon into the goal. It was hard because in water, the balloon doesn't float. And we cannot break it. After a few rounds or so... we use the real ball. The session overall quite nice as everyone exercised.

At night, we had some company members sharing session. Everyone share their thoughts, about happiest and worst time in company. After that... Hehe... Best part... Boss announced about Annual Trip... ^^

The next day... we had another indoor session before we check out and leave.

Charity Day...

13 June 2009... It was the 1st time I joined my company to do some charity. In the morning around 10am, we gathered at Wisma Zelan. Then we proceed to our 1st destination, the Jubilee Home at Jalan Loke Yew. We were greeted by the person in charge there. A lady at her 60s. She doesn't look that old actually, if asked me to guess, I would guess 50. We put all the stuffs that they needed on the table. Some of them were vacuum flasks, toilet rolls, detergent, some food supplies and a few cans of "Mui Choy Taucu Fish". Yeah... I never heard about that until that day. It was like normal taucu fish, just added "Mui Choy". The person in charge there explained that the old folks there likes the "Mui Choy Taucu Fish" very much. Normally they will mixes together a few cans + some "Mui Choy" and some cabbage so that it won't taste too salty for the old folks. There are around 28 old folks living there. It is a half private half government Jubilee Home. Government sponsored about RM8/day/old folk there. But it usually takes up to 14months to get the money. But as told by the person in charge, "It's better than nothing". After talked a while and donated money to the house, we leave to next destination, the orphanage.

It rains heavily when we reach the orphanage. It makes us a bit difficult to move the donation stuffs. But we were welcomed by the orphans happily. They keep saying thank you, welcome, thank you, welcome. And that makes us feel that we were really doing some good thing. We felt appreciated. Then we were greeted by the orphans, shake hand and say hello, introduced themselves. But it was sad when see a lot of them were imperfect. There are only a small number of them were normal. I can see the normal there does give their support to the imperfects. And they were happy to see us there. At least they know that the society still cares about them. I try my best to go around, shake hands, say hie. And all of them respond positively.

Photo above is the living room, where smaller ones were taken care. It was really not an easy job to take care the young ones. Where we were there, suddenly one of them cries loudly. We don't know why he suddenly cry so loud. He seems like scared of something. The one of the adult there pressed his forehead for a while. Then he back to normal. Maybe they have some professional training on that, or it developed from their experience? I'm not too sure.
Photo above are some of my colleagues accompanying a girl. The girl pulls some of my colleagues to sit with her when they pass by her. I guess she needs some people to accompany her. I believe most of them here needs the society to give them extra attentions.
See how poor is the girl above... She walks near me a few times and I shake her hand... say hello... talk to her a bit even though she doesn't speaks.
And the young guy above, when I was taking photo around, he keeps dancing around, trying to get my attention. And I took a few shots, and I show to him the photos. He gave me a feel like the Jamal in Slumdog Millionaire. Who knows, in future, he might be a millionaire? Hope that he will be blessed.

And to the society, hope that at least from this post, the readers will know their existence. There are a lot of orphanage all around. Not only big cities, there are also orphanage in small towns. Try to give some attentions to them, let them feel that they are still valued in the society. Give them any support that you can. You don't have to be a millionaire to donate RM1 to them. Every ringgit for them is a hope to survive. And even though you don't donate any money, some cares will let them feel warm.

Will Malaysia become a Garbage Country?

Hey all Malaysian... Do you ever noticed that the amount of garbage around you are increasing? You can see garbage everywhere... On the street, on stairs, on everywhere... including what I see below:
It was SUPER SURPRISING with what I saw... It's already 21st Century... and what happened here was like... people are living in Mesopotamia Age. Throw rubbish where ever they like. The lift is for transporting people from floor to floor... Schools never teach us that it's for transporting garbage!

If this kind of habits continues in Malaysia... I believe sooner or later... it will become

Asiasoft Game Fest 2009 @ 1Utama

Are you an Asiasoft fan? Do you play Maple? Cabal? Audition? or Sudden Attack? I'm sure that you will not miss this event if you are a fan. I just heard about this event from forums on Friday. And decided to go on Sunday (7th June) because in the schedule there is Maple Story 2 Launch on Sunday 3pm. When I woke up, my girlfriend told me that she read newspaper and it says that Raymond Lam and Linda Chung will be at 1U too.

So prepare and had our McLunch before we go. Since the event for Raymond Lam and Linda Chung is at 2pm and Maple 2 Launch at 3pm, so we thought that we should have enough time for both events.

Reached 1Utama at around 2pm. And we were surprised that there were a lot of people, even near the entrance at Level 3. It was so crowded and people all looking down at the stage. And yeah... It was because of Raymond Lam and Linda Chung. I never see an event at 1U that can attract so many people. And I tried to go down 1 floor by 1 floor looking for place where I can at least look down and see what happen, but failed. People stands on chairs, dustbins, where ever that can make them higher and able to see what's happening. But I decided to go down to G Floor. At least with the same height, I can raise my camera and able to look at the LCD. But even the G Floor is super crowded. So no choice, move on to the Asiasoft event.

The event was great. It started with a remote controlled baloon airship carrying an Orange Mushroom to the stage.

After that, it continues with free gifts and Hip Hop Dance. Ermm... Actually I was wondering what Hip Hop relation with Maple Story 2 Launch... And in the end I think it's totally not related =.=
After Hip Hop and gifts, it continues with the Cosplay. I believe many people like this part. Hehe...

Paint the world white to save energy

Most of us are aware of the hot weather on our mother earth today... heat are increasing... the earth are warming... getting hotter... so what have u did to save the world from extreme heating? You turned on air conditioner when ever you felt it's hot. You turn on all lights when ever you felt it's a little dim. You drove your car to reach a 100m away shop. All this are contributing to global warming. Have you ever think about it?

Recently, Obama administration wanted to paint roofs an energy-reflecting white. Brighter color can makes the interior of buildings cooler and reduce the use of air conditioning. This can also reflect the sunlight back and overall reducing the temperature of earth. Of course I believe that for many people, dark color looks elegant. But is that worth if you have to live in a world hot like hell?

Most of us are educated people, especially those who reading this. So since we are aware of the problem, why not join our hands, do at least what we can to save the world? (",)

What you can do at least:
1. Recycling
2. Gardening
3. Minimize the use of air conditioning
4. Use heat reflecting colors
5. Get educated of what to do and not to do to save the world

Super GT 2009 Official Launch

As marked on my calendar... I went for Super GT 2009 Official Launch at Sunway Pyramid on 23rd May. The weather was so HOT and the event was held outdoor. I guess my skin color much darker after the event.

I reached Sunway Pyramid around 3.15pm. Walked around and start shooting. Although it was very hot, there are a lot of photographers there. Walked around and took some shots on cars:

So those are the cars that I focused. After a while, the Queens started to walk around and posed.

Pity those girls, have to pose under damn hot sun. But they never feel unhappy at all... Keep smiling charmingly in front of the cameras. That is something respectable.

As I'm shooting around... I saw this Red Bull girl... walking around... promoting Less Sugar Red Bull

Tada... I get myself 1 Red Bull! For FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It was so HOT and Red Bull Saved the Day! Haha... Feel so good after drinking a cold Red Bull. Feel Energetic =P

At around 4 something, Japanese GT Queens appeared. They introduced themselves as Nana and Sana. After intro, they had an autograph session.

Geng Pecah Cermin

I'm sure that if you happened to pass by condos or flats with many cars parked along the street, there are a lot of window glass pieces scattered everywhere. I still remember that few months ago... My colleague's car's window was broken by some people and his radio was stolen. Most people was surprised as it was not an expensive radio... just the original radio which comes with the car. And he has to take 1 day leave + spent RM100 to fix the window. If I'm in his shoe, I might think "Why don't I just give you my radio... and you leave my window alone? At least I don't have to spend an extra RM100 to fix the window? =.="

Then, everything was cool until a few weeks ago... I still remember that it was Sunday and I went out until 1 something. When I reached Taman Mulia, I parked my car under the flat residence parking. The next day when I want to go to work... I see this:

The weird thing was... Nothing is lost in my car... Maybe they just break it for fun? =.= Or maybe they want to steal but got people saw them. I spent half day leave + RM80 to fix the window.

So do the authorities aware about this? I can tell you all that the authorities are aware of this. They even have the plate numbers of those "Geng Pecah Cermin". I saw them with my own eyes when I went to the police station. But since they are aware of this, why does more and more cases happens today? If they already have the plate numbers, I don't think it would be a very hard work for them to trace who are the owners (which might be one of the Geng Pecah Cermin), right? Even the media had reported where and when normally the break mirror activities took place. So are the authorities doing their part?

Last few weeks if you noticed, there are a news report saying that the polices was very capable in catching thieves when a minister had been robbed. In the same week also, my friend was being robbed, thieves went into his house, stole all his valuables, but he was not that lucky, having polices help him trace the thieves. Is this the difference between a normal citizen and and the renowned? Is it criminals against us, the normal citizen shall be neglected? What for we paying taxes? Aren't we hoping that government can do their part to look after us?

No matter what will happen to our country, just take care of yourselves and be extra careful. Criminals are rising nowadays. Just hope for the best. And remember... live life to the MAX! Who knows what will happens tommorrow?

From P&S to DSLR

My experience from P&S to DSLR. I would start from 2008, when I don't even know what is P&S (Point & Shoot) and I never even touch a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex). I just know that I see a lot of pro holding big camera in events and everyone focused on them. Anyway, that doesn't affect me much as I just need a camera. Until on January 2008 when I decided to go Hat Yai in February 2008 that I think I should buy a camera. So I browse the Lelong.com.my and Casio Exilim caught my eye. And I bought my Casio Exilim EX-Z700 from there. It is a 7.2MP 3X Optical High Speed Digital Camera. I was like "Wah... finally I have a digital camera." and 7.2MP at that moment is already very good. Took a lot of nice pics with that camera. I'm quite into photography... like to shoot around.

I was very satisfied with my P&S, until my 1st company trip to Australia... where many of my colleagues were using DSLR... The result is... cannot fight at all... DSLR wins with no mercy... Compared my photos with them... I felt the photos I took doesn't have any value more than a piece of memory. That was when I start to have interest in DSLR. Then I start to look around, and get advices from Daniel and Tuck Hoh. I also tried to shoot with Ek Wei's α350. Started to get poisoned by DSLR. As suggested by Daniel, I tried to feel the cameras, I went to shops to ask for price and tried to hold and shoot... I've heard a lot of good comments about Nikon and Canon.

One thing I don't like about Nikon is the design comes with a red color part on it's body:

And as for Canon, overall I'm OK with it. But I get attracted by Sony. I like the brand, I like the model name (α Alpha) and I like everything about it. The price for entry level is also quite attractive. I understand that in future when I want to get more add ons, it might cost me more than what I can get with Nikon and Canon, but I still love Sony!

So in the end... this is what I bought:
Sony α300. Took a lot of great photos with it and so far I'm quite satisfied. Hehe. Maybe will look for flash. And looking forward for more trips and events... to make it more worthy...

Nescafe and Risk?

Recently I have received emails regarding Nescafe. It does caught my attention as I'm a Nescafe fans. The email looks like below:

Sudah beberapa bulan pelajar ini tidak bertemu dengan saya.
Pelajar ini mengemukakan beberapa masalah kumpulannya untuk diselesaikan oleh saya sebagai seorang penasihat akademiknya.
Alhamdulillah masalah dapat diselesaikan.
Selepas hajat terlaksana, pelajar ini yang saya namakan sebagai Ahmad menukar topik kepada topik kesihatan dirinya.
Beliau mengadukan masalah dirinya.
Beliau dapat merasakan kemerosotan tahap kesihatan dirinya.
Berikut adalah antara tanda-tanda yang dapat dikenalpasati:

Kerap berdebar tidak menentu masa. Kadang-kadang waktu membaca
tiba-tiba jantung / dada berdebar dengan laju.
1. Bila jantung berdebar ini berlaku, ia akan diikuti dengan dahi berpeluh
2. Beliau juga kerap merasakan kesakitan pada dadanya.
3. Sering mencungap dan kadang-kadang kala sewaktu sembahyang pun mencungap..
4. Semakin tidak tahan atau alah dengan panas terik matahari dan jikalau kena panas, badannya akan banyak berpeluh dan tidak selesa.
5. Jikalau tahun lepas, kekerapan simptom-simptom di atas agak jarang namun kebelakangan ini, kekerapan kejadian semakin kerap sehingga satu kali serangan dalam setiap 2/3 hari.
6. Tapak tangannya.semakin basah.

Berdasarkan simptom yang saya perolehi saya terus menyoal tabiat permakanannya.
Selepas mendapat data yang dikehendaki saya pun memberikan penjelasan 'Ahmad, engkau ni walau pun usia masih muda, jantung engkau sudah bermasalah.
Punca masalah engkau ini adalah kerana engkau kerap meminum Nescafe 3 in one.
Nescafe adalah tidak baik dan merosak buah pinggang manakala krimer yang terdapat di dalam campuran ini sangat merosak jantung.
Krimer ini bukan diperbuat dari susu tetapi adalah dibuat dari kelapa sawit (non dairy creamer)'

Selanjutnya saya menasihati Ahmad untuk melakukan perkara berikut untuk merawat jantungnya:

1.Elakkan dari meminum Nescafe yang merosak buah pinggang dan elakkan sama sekali apa jua jenis krimer yang dibuat dari selain susu (non dairy creamer)
2. Elakkan dari mengambil coffee mate kerana ia adalah non dairy creamer
3. Elakkan makan ais krim kerana mengandungi krimmer yang tinggi
4. Elakkan susu pekat manis yang mengandungi krimer dari selain susu.
5. Elakkan memakan sebarang makanan yang mengandungi margarine
6. Elakkan memakan burger, naget, kentang goreng, potato chip dan segala yang sewaktu dengannya
7. Elakkan mandi selepas makan
8. Amalkan amalan: Ambil segenggam kacang hijau, rendam dalam air kira-kira 10 minit,selepas itu rebus asal masak dan bukan rebus sehingga pecah tanpa membubuh garam. Selepas itu buang air rebusan dan makanlah kacang hijau ini dan amalkan amalan ini setiap hari
9. Boleh beli jintan hitam dan makan setiap hari atau pun belilah yang sudah siap diproses atas nama habbatussauda
10. Amalkan makan sayuran pahit seperti kailan, peria, pegaga, daun ubi, pucuk betik, ulam-ulam dsbnya.
11. Kurangkan makan nasi lemak terutama sekali nasi lemak di kedai kerana mereka mencampurkan minyak masak kepada nasi lemak agar nasi lemak ini kelihatan cantik berderai dan tidak melekat.

Kepada yang mulai menghadapi masalah dengan jantungnya atau yang sudah lama bermasalah jantung, bolehlah mengamalkan amalan di atas.

For those who doesn't understand Malay, the article was about Nescafe has non dairy creamer which will bring harm to the heart. Of course, as a Nescafe fans, I felt like "what the... ". While Nescafe was actively promoting their products saying that it contains antioxidants that could fight many diseases and free radicals, there comes emails that trying to spoil their image. I can't tell whether this email is a hoax or not. I searched over the internet and the same article were circulating in many blogs and forums. So no one can prove this is true or not. People never thinks before they post and forward. Just like in many email hoax, they think it's true, so they send it to friends. Most of their friends not sure is true or not, then forward to other friends. And in the end... It seems true... but it was a hoax.

Me myself won't believe that much in this email. As a Nescafe fans... I understand that there are certain risks in taking it. As it contains caffeine. And I believe the sugar will also be a threat to our health. But I don't think it is as bad as stated in the email. Some more... why only Nescafe are mentioned instead of other instant coffee as well?

In my other findings, I found the benefits of coffee:

· Reduces the risk of alcoholic cirrhosis
· Decreases risk of type 2 diabetes
· Reduces risk of developing gallstones
· Discourages the development of colon and liver cancer
· Improves cognitive function
· Reduces headache/migraine severity
· Reduces the risk of Parkinson’s disease

I will stick to my own... drink moderate... as I believe everything we eat and we drink might have certain risks and benefits. Why worry so much on little tiny things as we might have lots more important stuffs to worry and do? Lets live our life to the MAX!!!

Sunrise and Sunset

What does sunrise and sunset means to you? Different people has different feelings when they looked at Sunrise and Sunset. Some of them are even "describable"... It was a feeling deep down in your heart... Some feel HOPE, some feel STRENGTH, some feel WARM, some feel ENERGETIC, some feel COOL, what ever words that might describe your feelings. Why does people wake up as early as 4-5am and drive for 2 hours to go to some where they like to watch the sunrise? Or after a whole tiring day of work, rushed to watch the sunset?

For myself, I felt that Sunrise brings HOPE, Sunset brings WARMNEST...
日出带来希望，日落带来温暖. What do you feel when you looked at the photo below?

It is a sunrise photo that I took a few months back. Of course it's hard to determine whether it's sunrise or sunset from the photo. But if you are there... you will feel the cool breeze air... Take a deep breath and you will feel energized, full with HOPE to face the day... I believe that we all faced quite some challenges in our everyday life. When you feel so... take a deep breath and say to yourself "I can face it". Your life will be much better!

One Night in Hat Yai

I'm back to Malaysia from a "What an experience 'luan lai' trip". Called this trip in such way because I went to Hat Yai หาดใหญ่ with some friends, and experienced a lot of thing that YOU might have not experienced before. Ahem... when I say "might" means maybe you experienced before. Hehe. So what I did was I took KTM to Hat Yai... Yeah... KTM. Walao eh... it was a more than 10 hours in KTM trip. But it was really a good experience. This is the train that I took:

The best experience in this train was... IT WAS ON FIRE in the morning. The incident happens when everyone was asleep... Suddenly I heard sounds like firecrackers "Pak pak pak pak pak..." so I looked out the window and I saw FIRE! Not long after... the train black out... electricity turned off and found out that it was because water dripping on the wire. Didn't take a picture because still blur that time. The train stopped at Bukit Mertajam for quite long, waiting for the technician to come. A few minutes after the technician came, the train operates as usual... Sweat... We waited for so long and the technician settle it in a few minutes.

After a few hours, the train reached Padang Besar... And we have to change to van to Hat Yai because the KTM people said that they have to fix the train in Malaysia. No choice... Stamp passport and take van to Hat Yai. As soon as we reached Hat Yai... We had a KFC lunch. Prices not much different from the price in Malaysia. But there are more choices of food in Thailand KFC... Not only have fried chickens... They have Shrimp Burger, Roast Chicken Burger, Thai Chicken Rice, etc. But didn't take photo also because too tired and hungry already. Hehe. Since the KFC is in the same building with Robinson Complex, we went into Robinson and walked a while.

After that we took Tuk-tuk to Wat Hat Yai Nai วัดหาดใหญ่ใน... The Reclining Buddha there is very big... Bigger than those I see in Malaysia:
Look into the eyes of the guy in the pic... Erm... He's like very sad... Hahaha... Help him add dialog "Please bless me more as I spent 100 Baht (RM10) on this incense sticks and flower." Haha.

After that... we went to the famous Fountain Circle วงเวียนน้ำพุ as planned... But when we reached there... It was a really big surprise... The fountain... NO WATER! =.='''
Then we walked to the Clock Tower... another surprise... It was under renovation...

Then we head to our hotel and had some rest. We stayed at Golden Crown Hotel. At first we went to Golden Crown Plaza... Then only found out that we went to wrong hotel =.='''. When reached the right hotel, the receptionist requested for our passports. They said will give us after they printed the receipt. So after we bath, we go to take our passports. Then they say can't... must pay deposit for it. The deposit then will be paid back to us in Baht when we check out. Really sweat =.='''. That is the reason I still have Thai Baht after I come back Malaysia now. Conclusion... this is definitely not a good place to stay. Sakura is much better.

Around 4 something... we went for massage at Lee Garden Complex.
It was not bad... But I think Sakura Hotel's is better. Last time when I went to Sakura, they really pressed on the accurrate pressure point... This 1 a bit not accurate. Spended 240 Baht for 1 1/2 hour massage and 20 Baht as tips.
Then we went to Savoey Seafood Restaurant... Had some coconuts, beer, some dishes and Tom Yam Goong there.
Overall the tastes of the food there is quite good. Just that the Tom Yam Goong is not as spicy as expected. Maybe they think we (tourists) can't eat so spicy.
After finished our dinner, we planned to go to Odeon, but it was under renovation. Aiks... Why so many places under renovation??? So no choice... walked around then went into Lee Garden Complex. In there we sit and have some drinks at Anita de Fortay Coffees. The tastes of the drinks is quite nice and it's not too expensive.it only costs about 50-70 Baht / drink.
After that... we went into The Oldest Bookstore in Thailand... Seng Ho Bookstore...
Then we go to Pink Lady Complex to have some fun. We went there to have some drinks and watched some show. Drank some beer + juices only cost us about 310 Baht (RM31).
And of coz we won't miss the Durian/Manggo Glutinous Rice and also the Fried Seafood and Chicken.
The end of the night...

The next day... Went to Kim Yong Market
Aftter finish buying stuffs, we check out and ate duck noodle near the hotel we stayed.
Then we walked to the Clock Tower to take bus to Padang Besar. The bus cost us 40 Baht each. And during the ride, we passed by Hat Yai City Municipality Park. Lucky we didn't go there as we see that all gate was locked. Then we passed by Carrefour, Hospital, University of Prince Songkla, and a few temples.
When reached the Custom, we stamped our passport and we walked to the Malaysia's Custom. Yeah... WALKED. Have you experience walking from Thailand's border to Malaysia's border? Haha... Stamped and back to Malaysia... straight go to KTM station, buy some snacks and food then board the train back to KL.

Yeah... That's all about my One Night in Hat Yai trip... Adios...

EON Service Centre

7.30am in the morning... it was so hard to get my butt off the bed as I extremely seldom wake up early nowadays. I made a call to Eon Service Center in Chan Sow Lin and confirmed a slot for my car service. It was not long ago since my car window was broken for an unidentified purpose. Yeah... unidentified as it was only the window was broken, no thing was lost. I shall thank god for that. Much luckier than many people out there. It cost me RM80, RM20 cheaper than ordinary people as I get privilege because there was introducer.

I reached Eon Service Center at 8am, where I start writing here. This service centre was the best I ever go... as this is a big service center with all the required equipments. And they follow the procedure, step by step. Sometime, if you don't make appointment before you come, they won't accept you. So better call before you go there. I did my last car service here also, where I see them lift my car up and down a few times, in different bay. And also take out all tyres to check. Maybe because I never see any of my previous service center doing that, I have more confidence in this. But there's one thing you have to take note... that they have a habit of going out "minum teh". I met one the first time I service my car. I saw my car at the same position an hour after I handed my key to them. So I asked a person who looks like a supervisor, then she told me that maybe he went to "minum teh". After that, she called him, and my car get serviced not long after.

This time is much better. The service was started once I handed the key to them. But due to my air conditioner got problem, it takes quite some time to service. That's the morning I spent... ^^

RON95 introduced, RON97 will cost 20 cent more...

Okay... That was a clever step. Instead of increasing the price of RON97 directly, government finally bring RON95. RON95 will be placed at a price of RM1.75/liter, 5 cent cheaper than RON97 now. But when RON95 launched on 1st Sept... RON97 will be sold at a price of RM2/liter.

There are pros and cons of coz... you will have a chance to enjoy cheaper petrol (although only 5 cent cheaper than what we have now). And we will be pumping lower grade petrol to our beloved machines.

Yeah... Good news and bad news... Anyway... we can't do anything... Just accept our fate. If government announce RM3/liter petrol today (just an example), we still can't do anything... just go out less frequent... and find some part time job lo...

Transformers 2

I'm sure that there are a lot of Transformers fans out there. Have you watched the trailer? Here it goes if you haven't watch it.

Back in 2007 when Transformers was brought to cinemas... Everyone was so excited. It was a great film. I watched it again few months ago... And I'll make sure myself watch again once more before I watch Transformers 2.

So what is Transformers 2: Revenge of The Fallen all about? If you had watched Transformers, at the end, Decepticons were thrown into the sea. Now... they are coming back for revenge.

In the trailer... I guess got 1 scene catch quite a lot of attentions. The scene where there's a girl on the bike. Haha... There's 1 scene in Transformers that I still remember also... where Megan Fox open Bumblebee's bonnet. I guess you remember that too right?

And guess what... Transformers 3 already get a release date. It would be released on July 1, 2011 according to Variety. That's cool right? We can expect Transformers 3 in 2 years after watching Transformers 2. Hehe...

Dream House

As I told my friend... I will blog about my Dream House. And here is it... A post about my Dream House. I believe that many people have thought about buying a big house. In fact... That was what I set in mind when I was small. So how about you? How you define your Dream House? I will wait the answer from you OK? You can mail it to me... Hahaha...

So here I will tell mine first. There are not many houses that I've seen before that I have set as a Goal. A few years ago... there was one. But I've lost the photo. In fact... I've also lost it in my memory. That is not very important now... Because I've found a new Dream House. What I target to get now is not a Castle, and not a Penthouse. My Dream House is a villa - like house, single story, and with a swimming pool which I can see from my living room.

30% Luck, 70% Hardwork

Suddenly one of Shinjuku Incidedent's scene keep playing in mind. The part where they sing the song 30% Luck, 70% Hardwork... Haha... I guess most of the old ones know this song. Me myself (even not the old ones) heard this song couple of times. This formula might be useful to the old days... those 60s, 70s and maybe 80s. But now... this formula no longer enough for us to survive.

I always believe that if you want 100% results, you need to have 120% efforts as the 120% might face some set backs which we estimate it 20%. Combined with the old formula... Tada... The new formula might looks like this: 30% Luck + 70% Hardwork + 20% Brain (Total Up to be 120%) - 20% set backs. There u go... 100% SUCCESS!

If you read this and wish to follow... Don't blame me when this formula don't work. Hehe... it's just a reference. Adios.

Many of us sure have forgotten when the oil price shoots up to RM2.70/liter during 2008, government had set a policy that oil prices will be reviewed regularly according to the market price. And we had been enjoying our RM1.80/liter since 16th Dec 2008 even though all other stuffs' price has increased by more than 40% (and never shows any sign of decreasing). I believe that most of us noticed that a bowl of noodle increased from RM2.80 to like RM4.00. Those were the days...

Cut the crap... So what will happen next? If this time oil price goes up again, will the prices increase again? o.O This will be a nightmare for most of us. So... be prepared friends... Save some money and spend wisely.

Fashion on One 2009

All started with a sms from an unknown sender on 23rd April. "Dear Alpha users! Sony is holding Alpha Fashion On 1 Challenge in One Utama..." Yeah that is why I began to search what is happening in 1U. This was an event held in 1 Utama Shopping Center from 24th April 2009 - 3rd May 2009. And to my surprise... The 1st event is "Triumph Zero to Sexy". I believe many guys will aim this 1. Haha... But that day... after work... I didn't go... Just go out yum cha and lepak-lepak with colleagues only.

So on 1st of May... Action begins... I reached there at around 2pm. And Voir Gallery already half way to the end. No choice... Wait next brand lo...

There goes Bimba & Lola

The models are pretty right? Hehe... After Bimba & Lola ends... walk around... came across a Bridal booth where there is a small size fashion show. The dresses are from Romantic Bridal. Shots below...

After the show ends... walk around shopping a bit and watched Kitschen show. Kitschen has a lot of nice apparels but too bad... my camera was not ready. Haha... Kept in bag already. Some more nice position for me liao...

After that... wait for Xixili show. Not much place for photogs that time. Some area reserved for their VIPs. And most of the photogs camp there since many hours ago... Haha... Sure lo... Best show of the day...

That's all for the fashion show. It was so tired after 8 hours in 1U. After that go yum cha with friends... went out whole day... Hehe... My holiday was worthy

Penang Trip

Penang... which Malaysians know as a state with lots of big companies and factories. A state where numerous condominiums lies. A state where you can see development projects going on here and there. But how much do you really know it? How many places you have explored? I believe that many of you guys (even those staying in Penang) miss out a lot of nice places. Places close to nature... places that you can relax... and places that you can take great pictures. So now let me share with you all where I had been when I went to Penang a few weeks back.

1st is the Toy Museum... It claimed to be the biggest Toy Museum in the world...

P1 W1MAX

Everyone was talking about broadband... How fast is this one... How reliable is that one... etc. P1 W1MAX catch my eyes when they launched. And I kept myself update about their growth, and feedback. When I went to PC Fair recently, I saw a lot of W1MAX promoters at their booth, promoting the newly launched Wiggy. It was quite attractive. Rm149/month you get yourself a laptop and wireless broadband.

But...

This is what happened to me and some of people out there... "Sorry, there's no coverage for this area." This sentence might sound familiar to some of people same fate with me... Cheers!

As you can see... Every where around my area has coverage. And only mine don't have... Haiz... I'm not thinking of TMNet as I don't need a telephone line... I don't make house calls. And other broadband providers doesn't seem attractive to me. So... no choice... Just wait like since many months ago... Pray pray that they will build a station near me soon...

Yeah... The number 1 post in this blog. I've been wondering why people like to blog. Why write everything out and let people read? And recently, I've been visiting blogs... read a lot of posts. And I learned a lot. Yeah... I agree more on "Sharing is Caring". A lot of useful information we can get from blog posts. And I've been joining more events nowadays... Took a lot of photos.
